Sand Art Kitty by AmyClark Sand Art Kitty by AmyClark
This year was...interesting. My roomie ~ silver-sehkmet and I entered the college-hosted sand art festival again. Our initial plan didn't work, and we met other problems as well. If you're interested, I've documented the events of the day in my Livejournal. Here is our kitty in various stages of completion. ^_^

I swear that's not me - it's, um, some ugly tourist that decided to work on the sand sculpture. :ninja: Yeeeeaaaah.... :ninja:

I posted our beautiful award in my scraps section. :D

:evillaugh: Actually, I thought the bird brought the cat's expression into context and made it more personable :)

And I hate seagulls even more than I hate pigeons...and that's a lot!

After reading the comments I've received, I really wanna make a mermaid someday. :) Sand is surprisingly easy to work with, as long as it's fairly damp

A mermaid would be cool. And you definatly have the talent and patience to do it ;)

Me and sand...we get along...it's just, I suck at making things with it :giggle:

wow, you two really did a really nice job... really nice form of the body, I can imagine muscle and bone inside. The paws are so nicely done too. And the face is so funny with the tongue out. I'm very, very impressed. I wish I could do that!
