I finally did an Hourly Comic this year!! Here’s my Wed, Feb 1st through to 6pm. I’ll try to scan and post the rest later on. Don’t worry, you’re not missing much… my evening became super boring and not-comic-worthy. -_-

This was the first time I've actually been able to participate (usually I don't find out about it until afterward) and man, it was actually kind of demanding. A huge chunk of my day was spent drawing the comic ABOUT my day, which means it's really not an accurate view of my usual workday at all. Maybe next year, I'll take notes about the day BEFORE and then spend the next day drawing the comic.

Please forgive me for the intrusion and forwardness.

In regards to the 7:00 AM panels: I suggest you have insanely loud sex. Arguments, even if you're fighting for something worth fighting for, are always emotionally draining and stressful. Sex, especially if it's loud, is good* for your and your partner's health, both physically and emotionally. Furthermore, since your purpose is to get back at your loud neighbors, you give them a double whammy of not just reminding them of how loud they are but also demonstrate to them that you actually have a working, healthy relationship you're both enjoying whereas they don't.

* Unless one of you has some sort of venereal disease, or are avoiding pregnancy. However, given the responsibility and discipline shown by your comic, the former is highly unlikely while the latter you can easily circumvent.

Haha, another vote for insanely loud sex! My guy is super shy about that stuff, but I would love to interrupt one of their routine screamy fits with obvious sex noises. I actually think it might stop them in their tracks, but then they'd probably just unite their anger and hatred against us. XD

(But really, each and every neighbor-couple at our last four apartments have been abusive and nasty to each other. We called the police on one domestic fight where heavy objects were being thrown. In another apartment building, an ambulance came for the woman the next day. Ugh... It's so disgusting and depressing, how people treat each other.)

Okay. For a less confrontational course of action, you can try soundproofing your apartment. There are low cost methods for that. At which point, you can ignore the muffled disturbances of your neighbors and have loud sex without fear of retaliation.

This is awesome! Now I'm inspired...but my days are even less interesting...if you can imagine. Are you supposed to do these on weekends, generally, or during the week? Stupid question, I know...but I guess a weekend day would be more interesting.
I can relate to the apartment thing...although you won't find me getting up that early on a weekend! Loud neighbors, a fiance who works on the weekend (sometimes), and a homicidal cat. Her name is Sophie <3

Several of my friends are doing theirs a day or two later because of scheduling conflicts and stuff. So I'd say go for it this weekend!

(Also, homicidal cats make life interesting. We love ours, and our love irritates her, lol) :3
